Arthur Askey and Richard Murdoch are discovered after months of living on the roof of Broadcasting House with their chickens and Lewis the goat, waiting for their chance at stardom.
On their subsequent aimless travels in their overladen car, the Askeytoff II, they end up renting the haunted Droom Castle for the princely sum of £3.
The perfectly natural explanation for the ghost is that Nazis are at the bottom of it all (in the basement), using a TV hook-up to Berlin.
Of course Arthur has a much better idea: put on a pirate TV station and broadcast a music show that night in competition with the stuffy old BBC.

Great Film :)
Arthur Askey and Co vs the BBC and Nazi's;)
BUT - Please Ignore the other review on here as they appear to be talking about one of the Dr Kildare films and NOT this Comedy Film.
I don't believe there is even a Hospital Scene within this film.
But I guess it's easy to confuse a Castle with one - LOL

Very Cute Indeed
A harmless picture that engrandizes and glorifies the medical profession to being completely devoted to its patients at any cost to themselves. I couldn't help chuckle when Dr Kildare's date,(Mary, a nurse) volunteers to give up her evening with him to sit in a car outside the patient's home while the Dr. goes into the home to romance the patient. All I can say is 'Lionel Barrymore for President'. What an actor.
